PDAC 2010 in Toronto
Scintrex exhibited at the annual PDAC here in Toronto. The conference had a dynamic feel about it this with a record breaking attendance with almost 22 thousand. With the economic conditions improving world wide, it was very apparent with the number of intentional delegations attending.
Everyone that we spoke to had a very up beat attitude for this upcoming year. Commodity prices have been on the rise fuelling the growth in our industry. This year we were pleased to have the pleasure of meeting with Government Delegation representatives from China, India, Russia as well as representatives from most countries around the world.
We launched our new underwater gravity meter called the INO which takes advantage of the industry standard CG-5 Autograv technology. The borehole gravity meter services are now being commercially offered to the Mining and Geotechnical Industries.
We were also pleased to have our colleagues from our sister company Micro-g LaCoste in attendance providing an extra level of expertise in our booth.
Mr. Chris Nind, president and CEO found the time out of his busy schedule to spend time in the booth assisting his sales team.
Scintrex held a hospitality suite at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel with overwhelming support from our Colleagues and Industry Friends. There were so many of us we filled the suite and overflowed into the corridor. Many thanks to all that stopped by to have a drink with us.
A word of thanks goes out to all, for a conference well done.
